Executive Assistant to the Provost

Reporting to the Provost and Dean of the College, this position provides high level assistance with all responsibilities of the College's Chief Academic Officer.
There is significant interaction with members of the Faculty and other Deans of the College.
Essential Functions Manage the Provost's schedule and email account Administer meetings, prepare documents for academic meetings that the Provost attends and chairs Help prepare the monthly Dean's report (eight times a year), including the Faculty Accomplishments section Assist with preparation of materials for quarterly Board meetings Support other administrators in the Provost's Office Provide administrative support to Faculty Council Answer questions from faculty and academic affairs staff, and others Monitor a moderated email list for faculty and approve messages that meet criteria within 24 hours (shared responsibility on weekends) Perform related duties incidental to the work described herein or as may be assigned Minimum Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree; 3
years of experience in executive level support; excellent time management, organizational, and administrative skills; ability to use Outlook to manage voluminous email account; use of an ERP (e.
g.
Banner, PeopleSoft); superior writing and editing skills; discretion, tact and diplomacy.
Non- profit or higher ed experience and familiarity with Canvas or other learning management system preferred.
