Barton Brands History:
Prior to Prohibition, there was no distilled spirits industry - just the whiskey business.
Two Chicago gentlemen, Oscar Getz and Lester Abelson had been engaged in the whiskey business at this time.
This was true after Prohibition as well, when these two men joined forces to re-enter the business shortly after the repeal in 1933 and founded Barton Brands.

BBM is currently operating on day shift with a regular 4 day schedule - Monday thru Thursday.
Some occasional overtime including Fridays and weekends are required.

The Operations Manager drives continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Service, and Cost across the bottling operations as well as being focused on achieving performance targets and delivering the lowest landed cost per case.
Lead the safety programs for Plant Operations towards the goal of zero OSHA Recordable injuries.
Ensure processes are designed for safe execution of work roles, and the right equipment to do a job safely is available.
Ensure that safety is engineered into every project and new equipment installation with the development of written operational procedures and the completion of employee training prior to start of operation, in conjunction with the Safety Department's review and approval.
Actively participate as a member of the Executive Safety Committee and promptly address issues identified by the team.
Provides oversight and development for the Bottling Operations as well as 150-200 employees in the efficient and effective bottling/processing/shipping of approximately 10MM cases.
Develop and implement standardized systems to continuously improve productivity.
Utilize Continuous Improvement processes, improve operator training by tracking line efficiency and downtime issues through Daily Production Reports and using input from various sources such as hourly team members, maintenance technicians, and Supervisors.
Ensure adherence to Personal Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Environmental Policies and Practices.
Responsible for treatment of Bottling Operations employees (fairness, respect, listening, etc.
) and addresses opportunities from the Focus Group and survey feedback.
Provides oversight and support for the Managers and Supervisors, and up to 200 Bottling Operations employees.
Implement a performance evaluation plan for direct reports that will move them towards improving their skills and performance to benefit each employee's personal development and the Company's business growth.
Provides oversight for training and monitoring the employees in conducting quality checks in Bottling Operations, ensuring the production of safe, high-quality product.
Drive improvement on Food Safety practices to ultimately result in HACCP, ISO 9001, and ISO 22000 certifications.
Develop, update, and inform Bottling Operations employees of their job descriptions and requirements.
Lead Bottling Operations in housekeeping initiatives which are focused on keeping work areas and job sites orderly and clear of debris making them safer and more conducive to efficient work practices.
Develop and implement a daily cleaning process for all employees.
Maintain and update priorities to assist with daily issues and projects.
Leverage PPT to complete projects on time and efficiently.
Leverage business systems to improve project and task management by direct reports.
REQUIRED
Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree Minimum of 5 years of strong relevant experience in a high speed manufacturing environment Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles Strong analytical and problem solving skills PREFERRED QUALFICATIONSAPICS Certification or Six Sigma CertificationBeverage manufaturing experience Recommended Skills Analytical Beverage Products Business Process Improvement Business Systems Daily Production Reports Food Safety Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
