Production Laborer

This is a production/catalog position with a great local company. You will be supporting and reporting to the Production Supervisor and must be able to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment that involves working with and around moving machinery and vehicles. You must adhere to procedures required to process the daily activities assigned to them along with any specific instructions related to each job. Also you, must ensure that related department duties, tasks and activities are performed accurately and in a timely manner.

Job Description:

· Frequently push, pull, squat, bend, reach and lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

· Stand/walk for extended periods of time

· Manage the receiving of truck deliveries and packages

· Build, wrap, sort and transport pallets and packages based on destination with or without accommodation

· Work on secure mezzanines at a height of up to 40 feet, climbing and descending stairs safely (applies to buildings with mezzanines and/or stairs)

· Ability to use smartphones and handheld devices with various apps to scan barcodes will be a plus


We have two shifts that are 10 hours long for the holidays. The first shift begins at 5:00am and the second shift begins at 3:30pm. Training will begin the first week of November and is scheduled in two hour blocks every other day. We anticipate training 80-100 people. Paid Training will be up to 2-3 weeks.


Thanksgiving Day will be the official start date for this position. All employees will be required to report. A special holiday schedule will be in effect for this day.

Black Friday is the beginning of the 10 hour days and will be every day until notified by the supervisor.

Mid-December, is considered the target date for ending the assignments. Some will likely be asked to continue on with us.


· Must be 18 years old

· Minimum high school education or equivalent to GED

· Must have the ability to understand written and/or verbal English instructions

· Must be able to list up to 50 pounds

· Must be able to use smartphones or handheld electronic devices

· Must have hand-eye coordination

· Must read fine print

· Must have flexible hours due to short notices in vacant shifts

· Must be able to work an early morning or late-night shift on a part-time basis


During the training we expect you to show up on-time and to learn all promotion specifications with little to no assistance. You will be evaluated throughout this time on your knowledge and understanding of each promotion and standards per promotion(s). You will be cross trained on jobs within the department and other departments in the warehouse as needed. Within this department there are standards for everything you do and we expect you to meet that standard to the best of your ability.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
